Big News, TanTan Tribe is now known as TanTan from 1st July onwards
Hey you! Yes, you, the amazing human bean who’s been swiping, matching, mingling, and vibing with us over the past 6 months. Since TanTan Tribe launched on 10 October, it's been one wild (and wonderful) ride, and we couldn't be more grateful for every online chat, offline laugh, and unforgettable moment we’ve shared with you.
Behind the scenes, it’s been hustle mode 24/7. Our product and engineering superheroes coded an entirely new app from scratch. Marketing crew built the brand up like champs. And together, we threw over 10 awesome events, from intimate mixers to full-blown parties, just for you.
But here’s the tea: the dating scene is evolving fast, and your feedback has been loud, clear, and very much appreciated. After some serious heart-to-hearts (and maybe a few group chats), we’ve decided it’s time for an upgrade.
Introducing: TanTan International
We’re consolidating TanTan Tribe into a brand-new TanTan International version app! This move allows our team to focus on one unified TanTan experience—designed specifically for our international community. Expect better matches, a safer space to connect, and exciting new features built just for you.
We made the switch but don’t panic, Tribe’s not ghosting you. Tribe is just getting a serious glow-up.
Tribe is now the official community arm of TanTan, where online charm meets offline chemistry. It’s hybrid dating, just hotter, bolder and way more fun. Bigger vibes. Better matches. And all the right reasons to show up (and show off).
All you have to do? Just hit “Update” in your app/play store after the 1st of July 2025, and you’re in. Easy peasy huh?

To keep your profile make sure your TanTanTribe account is linked to either your phone number or email. Accounts that aren’t linked may lose access during the transition to the new TanTan app. Take a moment to update your details so you can stay connected without a hitch. -
Good news! Your profile is coming with you. We’re moving to the all-new TanTan — and your profile info will be automatically cloned, so there’s no need to start over. Once you log in, your profile will be live and visible to TanTan users around the world — ready for you to match, chat, and start something new!

Glad you asked! This is a very important part of the transition to the brand-new TanTan app. Your matches and chat history will not be carried over due to technical limitations. If you wish to maintain connections with your favourite matches, you may consider exchanging contact details individually before 1 July 2025.
